Fire Staff Grip Tape
We offer two types of grip tape, they both are the same dimensions. Five feet long (152 cm) and 1 1/8 inch wide (2.7cm) Each length of tape will cover about 20 inches of length (20 inches of cover with a .0.875 inch 22 mm diameter shaft) if you have the minmum over lap. Tapes are made so the a adhesive is in middle of the tape strip and the none adhesive edge is the amount that is overlapped.
There are two brands of tape. Top of the photo, yellow, orange, red, green black, and blue are made in France, and have very good grip. When you put on the tape you have to pull the tape pretty hard so there are not wrinkles. You must be very carful when you apply the tape, and it difficult the fist time you use this grip tape.
The grip tape on the bottom (black) and is made by Gora. This tape has much more padding than the French tape and is easier to apply. Though you cannot adjust the tape once it is stuck to the staff, so you need to be very careful when putting it on the first time.
In most cases you need two lenghts of tape for a fire staff. Unless you are very carful with the overlap and do not need a very long grip. For snaller props, like fire devil stick, fire wands or other small fire props you can use one lenght.

Better for club handles and things that just need a slight grip. But as for a contract staff it wasn't as grippy as I was hoping. The customer service was A1, super responsive. Will shop here in the future!
