Fire Umbrella
A unique fire prop for spectacular shows. It is a little fragil but very imposing and cool fire prop. Since we destroyed so many of then attempting to make this prop we finally have the knowledge of how to make it as durable as possible. We recommend it to theaters, acrobats and dancers.Although it is the best umbrella I've found it needs careful handling and storage and transport. Its diameter is 130cm, its weight is 900g. Open the umbrella slowly to make sure chains are not tangled, and always transport it in a box or tube.
Always keep it open when you light up the umbrella, and don't close when the fire is on.
- Use lower heat level liquids like paraffin, lamp oil or barbecue oil.
- Do not use white gas, benzene or gasoline
Use lamp oil or white gas. Lamp oil burns at a much lower temperature.
Always shake out excess fuel before you light up.
Have adequate safety personnel and procedures in place before lighting.

Functions very well. My only gripe is that the instructions specify low temp fuels only - eg lamp oil... I do a lot of professional fire shows and using low temp fuels comes with it's own hassles, so i wish that the spokes were slightly more durable, to allow using white gas which is vastly easier to light and less smokey. Probably the most durable 'commercial' fire umbrella that I've tried, so generally happy with this and good value for the price. www.CirqueSanity.com
